Had a awesome weekend will most definitely be returning. The room was spectacular by far one of the best places we have stayed. Service from the restaurant was great, food was delicious both dinner and breakfast.
Very nice stay, rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, nice to order off menu instead of a buffet. No problems with parking, reservation or check out. All in all, exactly as described and what we wanted.
Delayed review from January but I just wanted to say how appreciative I was of the service offered by the Cat & Lion team when my car broke down outside and the recovery company let me down. The team helped look after my car for me and I'm very grateful.
Stayed here for an outdoor concert at nearby Arley Hall. Recently refurbished rooms with everything you need. Good breakfast, good value for money.
Rooms are spotless, everything you need is provided. Tea/coffee facilities. Iron, hairdryer. The bed is very comfortable. Housekeepers are very attentive providing clean towels when needed. Adjoining pub/restaurant. Plenty of parking. Service excellent, very welcoming. Good selection for breakfast/ lunch/dinner. Excellent location 2 min away from the motorway. Second visit here would not stay anywhere else when visiting family in Warrington/Liverpool.
A lovely country pub located not far from the motorway, although you'd never know it as it's in a quiet residential area. The rooms are well appointed & comfortable with large flat screen tv, tea & coffee faciities etc. We stayed on a bed & breakfast tariff, which was great value for money. The food was really good & the staff were absolutely amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble & they were very knowledgeable about the area advising us about the best routes into Warrington town centre as we were getting the train into Manchester. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere & is separate from the pub area, which i thought was great as it was quiet. The only issue I had was that the mattress was very hard, so I didn't find it comfortable. This is just my preference, though, preferring a softer mattress. I'd definitely recommend this hotel & would love to come back, but only if the mattress wasn't as hard.
Modern, but tasteful, hotel on the edge of town. Good access from transport links. Clean and comfortable rooms separate from the pub.
